Construction: Two piece welded. Takefu Ultra Cobalt Molybdenum stainless steel alloy blades. Computer controlled, vacuum furnace hardening with nitrogen injection sub-zero. Slice scissors have a high corrosion resistance and a uniform hardness without being brittle. Rockwell hardness 59 to 61. Corrosion resistant handles. Integrated click type in-built adjustment assembly.
Design features: Slice scissors are designed to be versatile and perform all current hairdresser’s techniques very well. The extra cobalt added to the blade alloy also makes them suitable for dry cutting up to 50%. The blade profile and finished edges are the most suitable of all the Sharpline scissors for hairdressers who are heavy handed. Slice scissors are the most drop resistant of all the Sharpline brands (although not drop-proof!). Edge retention is up to 3 longer than standard stainless steel scissors.
