History:New to Sharpline, the Multi Thinner range is a technological revolution and a development of the combined designs of Sharpline and our Japanese manufacturer in Seki City. Recently we decided to produce a new range of scissors so advanced that the copiers could not hope to match the design, the quality and precision technology. Now “patented worldwide” by our partner company, Multi Thinner takes the hairdressing scissor to a new level of excellence. The concept is to provide interchangeable blades and handles that produce an enormous range and variety in a high quality thinning scissor.
Construction:Two piece interchangeable handles and blades. Triple forged blades, sorry, we keep our alloys secret these days! Computer controlled, vacuum furnace hardening with nitrogen injection sub-zero slow recovery tempering (performed twice). This heat treatment is the best available and ensures our finished Multi Thinner scissors have a high corrosion resistance and a uniform hardness without being brittle. Rockwell hardness 61 to 63. Corrosion resistant handles also available in Titanium Carbon Nitride. Japanese click plate knob type adjustment assembly.
Design features:Multi Thinner scissors are designed to be versatile and perform all current hairdresser’s techniques very well. The flat and thin blade profile fine finished edges are designed for the softest cutting feel, super accurate precision and a remarkable smooth operation. The four handle designs are classic, comfortable and are made for western hairdresser’s hands. Available in three thinning scissor blade designs. The 15 tooth texturizer is suitable for adding heavy texture and for texture cutting. The 25 tooth blade is perfect all round thinning tasks as well as slide cutting, razor shear cutting and point cutting. The 30 tooth model is similar to the 25 tooth but will remove more hair and is suitable if you use your thinning scissor often for scissor over comb.
Edge type: Multi Thinner scissors have a super soft cutting feel. Thinning is easy and effortless. Scissor over comb, slice cutting and point cutting is superb. 30Tooth removes about 35%, 25 Tooth removes about 20% , 15 Tooth Texture cut style removes about 30% in sections.
