We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Orders over A$450 are shipped worldwide no extra charge via UPS Courier with tracking. Orders within Australia are shipped via Express Post or Direct Freight Couriers. A flat rate of A$15 mail fee is charged for all orders under $450.00. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to some international destinations, if in doubt contact us before finalizing your order. Deliveries are sent during normal business hours between Monday and Friday. Purchases made on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays will generally be processed over the next 2 business days. When you place an order, we will ship within 72 hours either from Japan or Australian stock. Scissorworld recommends customers provide a secure delivery address, for example your place of employment. Lost or stolen post is not covered by insurance, and Scissorworld is not responsible for stolen or lost parcels. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for delivery within Australia. International deliveries generally take between 5-15 working days, however can take longer due to your country's customs and processing systems. International Shipping charges above do not include possible taxes and charges imposed by the country of origin or destination. The responsibility of costs incurred for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may occur rest solely with the customer and not included in the retail price.
You may return scissors in new, unopened items condition (packaging clean, no hair or damage, no items missing) within 14 days of delivery for a refund less a $80 re-stocking and handling fee, and any Paypal or Merchant fees. Scissorworld considers that only minimal use (i.e. one or two haircuts) is required to assess satisfaction of scissor cutting performance. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) you will receive a full refund. Full refunds are only given for undamaged items returned as errors or with manufacturers defect (i.e. not edge damage on scissors). Scissor that are judged to have been used, abused or damaged are not eligible for return or exchange and will be return C.O.D. for shipping. Any import fees and customs duties payable on returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser. Return shipping and handling charges are not refundable and are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Please allow up to 5 business days from the time you apply for return to when your return/exchange is processed. Scissorworld will notify you via email when we receive the Returned Item notification and when the Returned Item arrives, and when the transaction is complete.
Post Office: Pack your item securely and take your parcel to any post office and return it using a track able service. Costs will vary depending on your location and the weight of your parcel. Scissorworld is not responsible for items that have been damaged in transit or items that have not been received. Scissorworld is not responsible for returns that are not received by Scissorworld

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
