Shipping & Returns

ONLINE TERMS 

Promotion/s are only valid for day/s as advertised, subject to availability of product. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (*inclusive of Collect Reward vouchers). Discounts not valid on Gift Voucher sales or existing in store laybys. Full priced merchandise is eligible for a refund, exchange or ONLINE credit note. Sale merchandise (inclusive of promotion) is eligible for exchange or online credit ONLY, no refunds on Sale items. 
Merchandise must have all tags attached and be returned in original condition. Scissors returned damaged from use will be repaired and returned to the purchaser with normal servicing fees applying, you will be notified before repairs are carried out.
 
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Orders over A$150 are shipped worldwide no extra charge via Air Mail Registered Post with tracking. Orders within Australia are shipped via Express Post. A flat rate of A$15 mail fee is charged for all orders under $150.00.  Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to some international destinations, if in doubt contact us before finalising your order. Deliveries are sent during normal business hours between Monday and Friday. Purchases made on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays will generally be processed over the next 2 business days. Scissorworld thanks your for your patience!

When you place an order, we will ship within 48 hours either from Japan or Australian stock. Scissorworld recommends customers provide a secure delivery address, for example your place of employment. Lost or stolen post is not covered by insurance, and Scissorworld is not responsible for stolen or lost parcels. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for delivery within Australia.
International deliveries generally take between 5-15 working days, however can take longer due to your country's customs and processing systems. International Shipping charges above do not include possible taxes and charges imposed by the country of origin or destination. The responsibility of costs incurred for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may occur rest solely with the customer and not included in the retail price.
 
Returns Policy
You may return new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund less a $20 shipping fee and any Paypal fees. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Full refunds are only given for unopened and undamaged items, especially scissors. Any import fees and customs duties payable on returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser. Return shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Please allow up to 5 business days from the time you apply for return to when your return/exchange is processed. Scissorworld will notify you via email when the transaction is complete. 

Post Office: Pack your item securely and take your parcel to any post office and return it using a track able service. Costs will vary depending on your location and the weight of your parcel. Scissorworld is not responsible for items that have been damaged in transit or items that have not been received. Scissorworld is not responsible for returns that are not received by Scissorworld

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
 

If you require an exchange, it is subject to availability at the time the item is returned. Please indicate the replacement size, colour and item you wish to receive on items you wish to exchange. If correct replacement size/colour/style is out of stock, repairs are not possible and you do not wish to choose an alternative item, Scissorworld will offer an online credit, exchange or refund to the value of your original order.
